The Accelerated Data Program (ADP) provides technical and financial support to survey data documentation and dissemination, and improvement of survey methods. 
The IHSN does not have ownership and is not mandated to disseminate country microdata. But we maintain a central survey catalog, and provide links to national or international databanks. A two-day introductory session in Best Practices in Data Documentation was held at CAPMAS in Cairo from Aug. 18-19. The IHSN has released a new version of its survey cataloguing application. This open source software, compliant with the DDI and OAI international standards, is available at http://www.ihsn.org/nada.
A new survey catalog (NADA application) was set up at the Institut de Recherche en Science de la Santé (IRSS). The catalog is available at http://www.irss.bf/catalogue/.

The IHSN is a partnership of international organizations seeking to improve the availability, quality and use of survey data in developing countries. This informal network was established as a recommendation of the Marrakech Action Plan for Statistics.
The IHSN is served by a light Secretariat managed by the World Bank Development Data Group and the Paris21 Secretariat at OECD.
