Harmonization of statistics on water and sanitation in Nigeria (Mina, March 29-April 2, 2009)

The ADP is now piloting its Task 2. This task envisions the analysis and assessment of existing data by specialized national and international researchers. The analysis focuses on sector development strategies with an objective to assess the strengths and weaknesses of the data.

ADP - IHSN Toolkit training held in Beirut, Lebanon

A Toolkit training was held from Feb. 2-14 in Beirut Lebanon. Principles and Good Practice for Preserving Data

This document produced by the Interuniversity Consortium for Political and Social research (ICPSR) provides basic guidance for managers in statistical agencies who are responsible for preserving data using the principles and good practice defined by the digital preservation community.

Marrakech Action Plan for Statistics The IHSN is a partnership of international organizations seeking to improve the availability, quality and use of survey data in developing countries. This informal network was established as a recommendation of the Marrakech Action Plan for Statistics.

The IHSN is served by a light Secretariat managed by the World Bank Development Data Group and the Paris21 Secretariat at OECD.
